We take pride in sharing a good news about Kabilan. Kabilan (son of Cholan Ramalingam) recently participated in the “Gold Coast Open Chess Tournament” under 1000 rating players held at Emmanuel College, Gold Coast on 22nd 23rd of June 2013. Kabilan got 3rd place. The community sends its congratulations to Kabilan on this remarkable achievement.

Kabilan won a small prize. Another remarkable thing Kabilan did was to donate part of this prize money to a community project of the Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association. The Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association sends our sincere congratulations to Kabilan for his remarkable philanthropic commitment to our community. It is very encouraging to see such philanthropic commitment at such a young age from our children.

The GCHCA has proudly listed Kabilan as one of their supporters:.

Once again, well done Kabilan on this remarkable achievement and we wish you continued success in all your endeavors.
