The GCHCA Navaratri Festival is an annual cultural event organised by the association. The evening will include performances by various prominent South Asian artistes in South East Queensland, followed by a vegetarian dinner. Navaratri is a festival of worship, dance and music which is celebrated over a period of nine nights to honour the three main goddesses of Hinduism – Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi.
